Feb. 27th 2006.
It is a pivotal point of my life. I am a Canadian and no longer a Chinese.
As the immigration judge said, we have made three promises today:
* be faithful to the symbol of Canada, Queen Elizabeth II
* obey the laws of Canada, which is the things in common for all Canadian, since Canadian are different in languages, religions, and races.
* promise to help each other.
The ceremony is short, but solemon enough to be an official ceremony.
Canada is really a good country, peaceful and glorious, developed and beautiful, ...
Good to be a Canadian, sad to lose my Chinese nationality. However, in terms of race, I think that I am a Chinese for good, no matter where I am or which nationality I hold.
