running towards my first marathon, new year party etc.

I started my marathon training again and got injury last Saturday. Check out my training blog at dailymile.com. http://www.dailymile.com/people/tqhh Better to get injury earlier than later. In this case, I will be more careful and not too aggressive in training. Thus to avoid further training injury.
The week before last week, I ran down from SFU to Wellington and ran back. I thought that it is too much for me to run all way back to SFU from Wellington. However, it turns out not too bad then. So, I decide to go further last Saturday with the nice sunshine. I ran all the way to Boundary Rd. One way is about 10km. I start to feel knee pain on the way back. It's getting worse when I reach the traffic light of Gaglardi Rd. I decided to run back anyway and I was thinking of the guy run 50-50-50. He said that it is good when you feel pain running. Human race feel excitement sometime when experiencing pain. That's totally true. I just got recovered today actually. So, I did an easy recovery run in the farm land trail.

We had two X'mas parties during the holiday season and one Chinese new year party. The party game we played are really fun. Ying and Li are good performers. Rocky, Nikola and me are good guesser as well. Unfortunately, I forget to take photos or videos during the party. Next time.

We went to Federico's and Boat House during the Dine out Vancouver '09. Both restaurants are quite good. The singing and dancing are quite romantic in Federico's. The food and view are spectacular in Boat house. Both places are decent place for dine out.

I bought a lot of SF novels during the X'mas season. I am reading fast then on the novels.
I also bought a set of Blu-ray DVD "Planet Earth" from Amazon UK for less than C$50. This set are fantastic. Highly recommend to everyone love nature and animals.
I also bought a set of Blu-ray DVD "Band of Brother" from Amazon. Haven't received yet.
